Kagitora from Japan
Thank you very much for visiting KAGITORA and for your interest in our shop.
My mother and I started our small shop on Etsy in November 2017, after my father passed away. It took some time, but we are very happy to have finally opened our own online store.
We have always enjoyed collecting vintage and antique items. Over the years, however, we have also begun to simplify our lives and carefully part with belongings that are no longer being used.
In Japan, this process is often called Danshari — the practice of letting go of unnecessary possessions and creating a simpler, more mindful way of living. For us, it is also a way of respecting the belongings that have been treasured by our family and by generations before us.
We offer carefully selected items from our family, relatives, and close friends, and ship them directly from Japan.
We sincerely hope these special pieces will find new owners who will cherish them and bring them into the next chapter of their lives.

To Ensure Secure International Shipping
We use reliable courier services to ensure safe and secure international delivery.
For international shipping, our couriers require a valid delivery address and a contact phone number.
Please note that we cannot ship to General Delivery (Poste Restante), P.O. Box, or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Some domestic services may allow delivery without sharing your address or phone number, but these services are not available for international shipments.
Safe delivery is very important to us, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
